Other Requirements:
Knowledge of energy audits
Knowledge of conservation solutions (i.e. wind, solar, geothermal)
Skilled in MS Office
Reliable self-transportation

Role:

Audits buildings for energy use, compiles possible solutions, and creates a service and replacement database.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Building Audit – Audits buildings to identify energy consumption and thermal performance, compiles a report and database showing statistics of energy consumption.

Energy Solutions – Identifies a strategy for addressing energy consumption and thermal performance by identifying improvement strategies and replacement priorities, related costs for installation and maintenance of solutions, and expected returns on investments.

Building System Database – Creates an inventory database of building mechanical and energy systems, identifying scheduled maintenance dates and life expectancy, and recommended replacement dates.

Other Duties (if time allows) – May help identify and assist in applying for grants available to improve energy consumption and thermal performance of buildings.
