Masters Degree in a program of Library and Information Studies required

MLS from ALA accredited institution (required), demonstrated knowledge of business reference sources, both print and online, excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description/Duties:
Responsibilities include reference assistance, collection development and maintenance, and participation in instructional programs for students and faculty of the Mitchell College of Business (MCOB) where this librarian maintains an office.

The Libraries of the University of South Alabama consist of the University Library and the Charles M. Baugh Biomedical Library, both on the main campus, as well as the Mitchell College of Business Learning Resource Center, the University Archives, the Medical Center Library and the Children’s and Women’s Hospital Library in downtown Mobile.
