Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and flexible youth services librarian/assistant branch manager for the Parachute Branch of the Garfield County Public Library District. DUTIES INCLUDE: responsibility for branch management in the absence of the Branch Manager; providing library services and resources to all users, children through adult; planning, promoting and implementing youth services programs and conducting story hours; performing outreach activities; and, collection development. Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience in library setting is helpful, but not required. Other combinations of education and experience which would provide the skills necessary to perform the work required will be considered.
