PublicThe Muskego Public Library is looking for a full time customer service oriented professional librarian to manage and coordinate a variety of technical and public service activities. Responsibilities include cataloging library materials, overseeing the library’s technical services operation, participating in reference and reader’s advisory services and adult collection development duties. The successful applicant must have strong computer skills and should possess a positive achievement oriented attitude. The ideal applicant will have knowledge and understanding of the service role of the public library and be able to apply that knowledge to cataloging and processing of library materials and database management. A Master’s degree from an ALA accredited program is required; experience in a public library is preferred. The current salary starts at $34K+, and some evening and weekend hours are required.
