PublicThis is an outstanding opportunity to lead a diverse public library program of information and adult services in advancing the implementation of emerging technologies and patron-centered services in a dynamic suburban community located between Denver and Boulder, Colorado. Supervises the public reference desk, public computing services, and specialized information services. Oversees and develops adult print and electronic collections and a successful portfolio of adult cultural and educational programs. Plans and implements marketing strategies for departmental services and collections. Works with other library managers and community partners to evaluate service quality, community responsiveness, and advances in the library field that will best serve the local community.
Master's Degree
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Library Science or Records/Information Management.
2 years of supervisor experience required
4 years of professional experience required
Four years of increasingly responsible professional experience adult reference library work. Two years of supervisory experience, including supervision of para-professional or professional staff, is also required and may run concurrent with the professional library experience.
