BRANCH MANAGER

We are looking for a Branch Manager for the Carbondale Branch Library. The Branch Manager directs the day-to-day operation of the library and is responsible for public services, selection and circulation of materials, community outreach, facility operations and programming. The Branch Manager oversees 5.25 FTE staff, advises the Friends of the Library and serves on the District’s Management Team. This is an FLSA exempt position with a minimum of 40 hours work week, involving some weekends and evenings. We are opening a new 13,000 SF building mid-summer so this is an exciting time to join our team.
ALA (American Library Association) accredited MLS (Master of Library Science) is required. Minimum of 3 years of library experience and 2 years supervisory experience required.
