Job Description
As a Materials Handler your responsibilities are woven throughout the life of the library. In addition to processing and shelving materials, you will be responsible for carrying out basic customer service. You will be running reports and searching for lost items as well as lending a hand with our adult and children’s programming. It’s a dynamic position at our library, requiring creativity, stamina, people skills and a general love of engagement. If you’re the sort of person who loves to read, but who also can’t wait to tell someone about your most recent discovery, we’d love for you to complete the City of Lafayette application.
