Duties
The Data Curation Librarian will build and maintain digital data repositories in collaboration with our designers, scientists, and various support departments. This newly created position, reporting to the Corporate Librarian, will actively support our day to day operations by applying a solid understanding of data curation theory to complete complex projects.
Core responsibilities include developing and maintaining a central repository (20,000-30,000 ever-changing records) which can be accessed from division or project manuals using SharePoint or OneNote. Click-through, full-text access will be provided where feasible. Knowledge of DOIs and copyright law are essential to success. Knowledge of design standards, engineering, or construction projects and/or scientific or technical background is a plus. Library technical services or similar background a definite plus.

Required Qualifications
- MLIS degree from an ALA-accredited institution
- Successful experience completing knowledge management, data curation, or similar digital projects
- Ability to perform complex research for scientific and technical requests that are often confidential and time sensitive
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional experience in a scientific, technical, corporate, or academic library
