Job Description

Marmot Library Network offers an opportunity for a Technical Support Analyst who enjoys working collaboratively with an organization valuing teamwork and exceptional customer support.  

SUPERVISOR: Executive Director

PURPOSE: The Technical Support Analyst (TSA) shares primary responsibility for the Marmot Help Desk. The TSA handles phone calls, email, and tickets opened by member libraries, and works with colleagues to track and resolve problem reports and service requests. As an entry-level employee, the TSA must learn as quickly as possible to operate systems and services hosted by Marmot; to install, support, and maintain hardware and software installed in libraries; and to support and train library staff using Marmot systems and services.

Additional Info & Requirements

  • Basic understanding of computers, networks, telecommunications, operating systems, Windows, and related technology.
  • Familiarity with online training using webcasts, videos, and other appropriate media.
  • Ability to discern specific problems in symptoms reported by non-technical users, and to explain solutions in non-technical terms.
  • At least 2 years experience in customer service using computers. 
  • Must be able to travel to library sites in Colorado in all but the most severe weather conditions.
