Job Description
Under general supervision, provides research assistance, project coordination, and clerical support for the Senior Management Team and the Administrative Support unit of the Jefferson County Public Library.
Work involves providing organizational support and project management work for the Senior Management Team. Responsible for meeting/event planning, scheduling and maintaining calendars, taking meeting minutes, preparing and distributing documents and correspondence. Attend committee meetings as assigned, work on special projects and participate as a member of special task forces and committees as assigned. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the records management system. This position works in a team environment in the Administrative Support Unit (ASU).

This position will be located in the Administration Department of the Lakewood Library.
Requires high school diploma or related certificate (Associate's degree in related field preferred) and minimum three years administrative support work experience, to include project coordination experience. Must have expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite products.
Must have the ability to establish priorities and plan and manage work load with a strong desire to work in a team environment and collaborate on work and projects. Must be able to perform difficult, complex,t technical and/or specialized office support work, which requires the exercise of independent judgment, the application of technical skills.
