Job Description
The Library E‐Resources Access Manager has primary leadership responsibility for maintaining and
troubleshooting access to Auraria Library’s electronic materials. Over 90% of the Library’s $3.6M
Learning Materials budget is dedicated to electronic resources. As the purchasing of these resources
grows, more and more attention must be paid to their maintenance. Electronic resources require care
that traditional materials do not; URLs change often, publisher platforms change vendors, titles are
pulled from ebook packages due to licensing issues, library and vendor internet outages threaten patron
access, new mobile devices require special applications. In addition to these issues, a vast number of
Auraria Library’s patrons access the Library’s electronic resources from off‐campus.
The Community
The Auraria Library is located on the Auraria Campus in downtown Denver, Colorado. The Auraria
Library is administered by the University of Colorado Denver and serves 45,000 students from three
institutions of higher education on the Auraria Campus – University of Colorado Denver, Metropolitan
State University of Denver, and Community College of Denver. The Auraria Library is undergoing an
exciting $25 million renovation that will redefine academic libraries. For more information about the
