Job Description

We are looking for a self-reliant, motivated Network\Systems Administrator to manage existing IT infrastructure. Our infrastructure encompasses diverse technologies such as Windows Server 2008 R2/2012, Exchange Server, SQL, Linux, Cisco switches, VOIP, Xirrus Wireless Systems, VMWare, Veem, SAN Storage, and more.

Expert skill in networking, connectivity (wired and wireless), and above mentioned topics will be required. In addition to system administration, this position will work closely with other IT members to contribute to new and ongoing IT projects and implementation of new technologies.

Knowledge and Responsibilities: will include, but will not be limited to: · IT support to staff members and patrons. Actively seek ways to grow and improve the IT infrastructure, beyond routine patch installations and maintenance.

  • Take full ownership of planning and implementing large projects.
  • Configure and deploy VOIP phones, switches, printers, wireless routers, etc.
  • Create and maintain documentation.
  • Proficient in installation and support of Windows 7, 8, Server 2008 R2/2012, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong IT networking skills, including 802.11 wireless, Ethernet switches, DHCP, DNS, Firewalls, VOIP phones, and cable management.
  • Experience in data backup and restoration, security procedures and disaster recovery.
  • Advanced knowledge of virtualization and SAN technologies.
  • Experience in documenting procedures and writing reference guides.
  • Advanced networking skills - Cisco routing and switching, ASA firewalls.
  • Experience working with VPN management with Cisco VPN client and TCP/IP networking in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy and MS Exchange Server. Experience configuring and administering Cisco ASA Firewall System.
