WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING TO FILL TWO, PART TIME - NON-EXEMPT (26 HOUR) ADULT SERVICES LIBRARIAN POSITIONS.

The Adult Services Librarian position is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing library services, programs and outreach, within the library and for the community. This position leads and supports the district’s mission and core values. Work is performed with considerable independent judgment and initiative.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Working knowledge of the professional principles of adult services to include reference tools and methodologies, including print and electronic sources is required.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude toward staff and patrons of all ages in all contact environments.
  • Must be able to maintain a positive professional image in representing adult services and the district.
  • Requires the ability to work under periods of occasional stress resulting from peak periods of patron service requests.
