Rangeview Library District—Thornton, CO. A once in a lifetime career opportunity awaits you in Colorado! Rangeview Library District ((www.rangeviewld.org), an exciting, newly reorganized Library District serving Adams County (pop. 412,000), —one of seven counties making up the Denver metropolitan area—seeks a dynamic director to lead an ambitious expansion program. Governed by a five-member Board of Trustees, the Library staff (currently 72 FTEs) now operate six branch libraries, a bookmobile and outreach services. In a matter of months, however, the District—funded by a successful levy election that tripled its budget to more than $12 million—will be building two new libraries and replacing and renovating its branches while laying the groundwork for a new program of service for this rapidly growing and increasingly diverse county.Additional Info & Requirements

Minimum requirements: an MLS from an ALA-accredited program (an MPA or MBA will be considered a plus); eight years of progressively responsible public library experience; and a minimum of four years of administrative experience (preferably reporting to a governing Board). Salary range $100,000 – 120,000 with a competitive benefits package.
