Job Description
Performs customer service and provides technical assistance in the Library Technology and Innovation (LTI) Division with primary responsibility for the Library’s Public Access Network consisting of servers, thin clients, network equipment (L3 HP switches), WYSE thin clients, WYSE Streaming Manager (WSM), VMware, Windows Domain Management. DHCP, DNS, Proxy Server and various video productions.
This position reports to the Library Technology Manager and requires working 1-2 evenings per week until 8:00 pm and 1 weekend per month.
Additional Info & Requirements
At least two (2) years working experience on various MS Office applications, Internet browsers and related applications software required. Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Services or closely related field may substitute for work experience. Previous experience with library circulation software preferred.
