Job Description
Nature of Work: This position is located in the Acquisitions Department of the University Libraries and exists to provide general support to the Serials Searching and Ordering unit by: assisting with searching the Libraries’ online catalog and vendor databases for serials order information, entry of order information into the online catalog, checking subscription lists, assisting with entry and revision of information into the online catalog’s Electronic Resource Module, scanning license agreements, and assisting with changes in registration of electronic subscriptions in vendors’ databases to ensure campus-wide access.Additional Info & Requirements

Exam Schedule: Applicants will be notified of the time, date, place, and type of examination required. Please read all information: Minimum Requirements: Two years of general library experience involving typing, ordering, preparing, shelving, and maintaining library materials. Substitution: Two years of course work from an accredited college or university including twelve semester hours of library science course work may substitute for two years of the general library experience. Highly Desirable Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience working in an Innovative Interfaces library system; experience working with serials; and experience in acquisitions and/or cataloging.The Community
