Job Description
Manages and directs all functions of the Clinical and Research Medical Library. Responsible for overseeing the provision of library services to TCH medical, nursing, allied health, administrative and support staff, UCHSC faculty and students, affiliated agencies, and community health care practitioners. Supervises other staff in the Medical Library.
The Community
General Work Experience: Experience in a health sciences library setting (3-5 years preferred) including two years supervisory and administrative experience. Thorough knowledge of sound fiscal/accounting practices in a library. Experience with electronic information technology, bibliographic instruction, and collection development. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Commitment to responsive and innovative library service.
Required Education/Field of Study: Masters in Library Science.
