Job Description

Marmot Library Network is looking for a Technical Support Analyst with a proactive, team spirited attitude that can bring experience and initiative to this expanding and successful organization. The successful candidate will perform a variety of computer systems administration and support tasks.

JOB TITLE: TECHNICAL SUPPORT ANALYST (JOURNEY LEVEL)

CLASS: Non-exempt

MANAGER: IT Services Manager

PURPOSE: Under general supervision, performs a variety of computer systems administration and support tasks, including analyzing, constructing, documenting, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting PC hardware, operating systems, software applications, peripherals, and communication devices in libraries. Performs a variety of project tasks and requires good communications skills with the ability to work with users diplomatically and skillfully. Performs work under general supervision while learning job tasks. Exercises judgment and decision making in the diagnosis of computer hardware and software problems. Performs the full range of work assigned to the IT Services Team, and works with some independence and initiative. Work is moderately complex.

Additional Info & Requirements

  • 3-5 Years experience in information technology.
  • Colorado drivers license
  • Desktop and workstation support
  • PC hardware and software troubleshooting
  • ITIL or HDI certifications
  • Hardware/software installation
  • Remote maintenance tools
  • First- and second-level technical support
  • Low-to-mid-level network and application administration
  • Experience with Active Directory tools and Powershell a plus
