Job Description
Youth
Plans, schedules, organizes, promotes, supervises, and directs regularly scheduled age appropriate library and literacy based events, activities, and programs for youth patrons ages 0-18. Coordinates events and works directly with leaders in the local school district, child care centers, and home school organizations to promote library usage and enjoyment of all area youth.
Customer Service
Provides assistance to library patrons of all ages and abilities by performing a variety of general, basic, routine and moderately complex tasks, using personal, administrative and technical skills and knowledge.

- Ability to work Saturdays
- Experience working with youth in a library/educational setting preferred
- Basic computer knowledge including searching, internet, and basic typing skills.
- Use of Computer Integrated Library System
- Dewey Decimal shelving
- Ability to operate office equipment including phones, fax machines, etc.
- Basic knowledge of English reading and writing skills, knowledge and ability to do basic math skills
- Ability to multitask
- Customer service skills
