Part-Time Help Desk Assistant
The University of Wyoming Libraries is seeking an individual to fill a part-time position in the Research & Instruction department for the 2015-16 academic year. The position is ten hours per week and is non-benefitted. Work hours are flexible, but some early evening hours are required. The position will provide research and circulation support at the Coe Library Help desk. This includes one-on-one research assistance (answering questions, making referrals) and circulation assistance (checking out materials and related duties) to students, faculty, and staff at the Help desk. Required qualifications: Knowledge of research process; ability to provide research help one-on-one via in-person, email, and online chat, excellent communication and people skills, and ability to work cooperatively. Preferred qualifications: library experience, instruction experience; experience with library databases; a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. The successful applicant will begin in mid-August, 2015.
