Are you an energetic, collaborative and tech-savvy professional who is detail-oriented and enjoys helping others become technology literate and enjoys a varied workload? The Gunnison County Library District is seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill the role of Library Technician II. The ideal candidate will be technology proficient, pay close attention to detail, and be adept at fulfilling a variety of patron requests. This position is responsible for proactively assisting patrons with locating materials and answering questions, providing one-on-one technology instruction, cataloging library materials, and helping with programming and outreach events as needed. Excellent customer service skills and technology proficiency a must! Work is performed using independent judgment and initiative. Preference given to those with previous library experience. Some weekend and evening work required.
