About the Position

This is a specialized library clerical work assisting in the operation of the library’s circulation tasks including checking library materials in and out, issuing library cards, processing overdue materials, collecting fines and fees for overdue/lost materials, balancing the cash register, retrieving and processing holds, telephone renewals, and other tasks necessary to ensure the efficient maintenance of member accounts and the circulation of library materials.  This includes answering general questions about library policies and procedures, and promote library services, programs, and materials.

The full salary range for this position is stated above. The starting range of pay is dependent on qualifications and experience of each individual candidate. The City of Westminster offers a bonus of up to $1,000 per year depending on the employee’s fluency in Spanish, Hmong, and/or Laotian.

This position is a 20 hours per week, benefited position at Irving Street Library - 7392 Irving Street, Westminster, CO. Hours vary. This position will be required to work a weekly Sunday shift and hours may include, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
