Job Description

The Poudre River Public Library District in Fort Collins, Colorado seeks a dynamic, creative librarian to engage youth with the wonders of their public library. The children’s and teen services librarian at Council Tree Library collaborates with staff to develop and implement engaging programs, manage vibrant collections, and deliver high-quality services. The position maintains and develops partnerships with area schools, community organizations and agencies serving youth. Successful candidates will exhibit strong collaboration and presentation skills, effective organizational skills, knowledge and appreciation of children’s and teens’ literature and media, an interest in learning, and a passion for providing excellent service to youth and families from diverse backgrounds.

Additional Info & Requirements

 Three or more years of paid work experience with children and teens is required, in a library, school, or related setting.  Skill helping people of all ages in a public library is required.
