Job Description
This position usually serves as the first point of contact for patrons and requires excellent customer service skills. Specific job duties include, but are not limited to: actively assisting patrons in finding information using print, electronic, and online resources; assisting patrons with technology and computers; performing all circulation duties including keeping statistics, processing holds and overdues, and maintaining patron records; operating and maintaining interlibrary loan service; assisting with collection maintenance and cataloging duties; providing patron instruction; and participating in the planning and development of library operations and services as part of the curricular life of the college. The incumbent must be able to work a flexible schedule including a minimum of two evenings a week and potentially weekends.

MORGAN COMMUNITY COLLEGE is one of 13 colleges comprising the Community College of Colorado. Service area. Morgan Community College is located on I-76, 80 miles northeast of Denver and approximately 100 miles east of the Rocky Mountains. Morgan Community College provides quality lower division and occupational education through innovative and non-traditional delivery to an 11,500 square mile service area in eastern Colorado. The College serves this vast, rural, agricultural area from its main campus in Fort Morgan and through four sites located 75 to 150 miles from the main campus. Students are enrolled in traditional classes, distance learning including multiple fiber networks and online classes.
