Lafayette Public Library is hiring a part-time, Assistant Librarian . Our ideal candidate will bring previous experience working with the public in a library or similar setting. If you speak Spanish, that’s a bonus in our diverse community! Our new Assistant Librarian will play a support role in many of the library’s essential functions, including programming, collection development, and training and, of course, customer service. Applicants will need to have fairly open availability, as your schedule will include at least one morning and one evening shift per week, as well as every fourth Saturday and Sunday.
