Job Description

Manage all aspects of Signature Services including Opening Day Collection (ODC) projects for library customers. Key departmental functions include establishing services and deliverables to ensure that Ingram Library Services is the premiere provider of 100% cataloged and Opening Day collections. Utilize strong project management skills to manage multiple one-time or ongoing projects, and communication skills to conduct effective customer presentations, primarily at major trade shows and conferences. Interact extensively with other Ingram departments to ensure proper implementation of projects from account set-up to project completion. Apply working knowledge of processing, cataloging, operations, and transportation to identify and implement workflow improvements for projects, and to maintain competitiveness in providing new or enhanced products and services. Use MS Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and Project for analysis, presentations, and reporting. The position is based in the Nashville, TN area. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree • 5 years experience in libraries or book industry • 2 years management experience • Must be willing and able to relocate if not currently a resident of the Nashville area. Preferred Qualifications: • Masters Degree in Library Science • 1 year experience in wholesale book distribution business • 2 years work experience utilizing MARC, LC, and Dewey classification schemes. • 2 years experience in project management managing multiple concurrent projects • PMP certification Ingram Library Services, a division of Ingram Book Group, provides distribution and other business services to public and school libraries.
