Job Description

Douglas County Libraries has a P/T (15 hrs/wk ea.) Patron Service Technician (PST) Sub position available. The position will report to the Highlands Ranch Library but will work at any Douglas County Libraries location as needed. Special training will be provided for each location. The position will perform a variety of patron contact duties including actively assisting patrons with finding library materials and with using the catalog, assisting patrons with circulation procedures, and maintaining displays.

The position will report to the Highlands Ranch Library but will work at any Douglas County Libraries location as needed. Special training will be provided for each location. While in training, salary will be $11.55/hr. Once training is successfully completed, the salary will increase to $12.35 per hour. A strong customer service ethic is a must, as well as a flexible and adaptable nature. Evenings and weekend hours are required. Previous library shelving and circulation experience and/or bookstore customer service experience is required. Position requires at least above average computer skills and experience.
