Job Description

The Elbert County Library District is seeking two dynamic individuals to join its Management Team. One Branch Manager will supervise the Elbert and Kiowa libraries, located 10 miles apart from each other. The other Branch Manager will supervise the Simla Library, located 30 miles east of Elbert. The Simla position is available now; the Elbert/Kiowa position is available Jan. 1, 2009. The Branch Manager is responsible for all library functions related to the general operation and management of a single or multiple branches of the Elbert County Library District. The Branch Manager works with the staff and community to build collections and services that are responsive to the needs of the community(ies) it serves. The work involves carrying out library policy as determined by the Elbert County Library Board of Trustees, under the supervision of the Library Director.
