Job Description

The University of Wyoming Law Library is seeking a half-time Public Services librarian. The Public Services Librarian will report to the Law Library Director and: provide reference service (possibly including some early evening and weekend hours); participate in user instruction; creates user aids; create educational displays; and participate in the development of the Law Library web site. Required qualifications: M.L.S. from an ALA-accredited school or equivalent degree; coursework or experience in legal research, including online sources; strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students. Preferred qualifications: J.D. degree; law library experience; strong computer skills, such as experience with web design. Rank and salary: Assistant Law Librarian (not eligible for extended-term contract), $23,000--$25,000, benefited.
