Job Description

The Philip S. Miller Library in Castle Rock needs two Patron Service Technicians, one F/T (35 hrs/wk) and one P/T (24 hrs/wk). The positions will perform a variety of patron contact duties including actively assisting patrons with finding library materials and with using the catalog, assisting patrons with circulation procedures, and maintaining displays.

We need two Patron Service Technicians, one F/T (35 hrs/wk) and one P/T (24 hrs/wk). While in training, salary will be $11.55/hr. Once training is successfully completed, the salary will increase to $12.35 per hour. Full benefits are available. Our main focus is to provide superior customer service, so top candidates must possess strong experience and skills in this area. Days, evenings and weekend hours are required. Previous library shelving and circulation experience and/or bookstore customer service experience is required. Experience with maintaining merchandise displays is preferred. Position requires at least above average computer skills and experience.
