Job Description

The individuals we’re looking for are passionate about communicating the success we’ve had to librarians throughout North America. Do you like to talk to people? You’ll be calling library staff to tell them about our online presentations and help them get signed up on our website. You’ll also be taking care of routine administrative tasks like scheduling and updates classes on the corporate website, doing some research on the web, preparing proposals using Word and Excel, and using our CRM software to keep information about prospects up to date. You’ll also be calling AquaBrowser customers to inform them about new offers and new classes just for them. Finally, you’ll occasionally be called on to help out with the production of RFP responses.

The Community

Medialab is the growing international company that created AquaBrowser, the original Search and Discovery platform for libraries. The North America segment alone more than doubled their sales in 2008. As popular as we are in North America, we need even more help getting the word out and tracking our activities. That’s why we’re looking for two new sales specialists to help the AquaBrowser North America Sales Team.

HR Info

• Self-motivated, goal- oriented, get-the-job-done mentality • Good communication skills • Strong attention to detail • Thoroughness and follow-up • Curiosity & ability to do research online • Ability to learn CRM software (SalesForce) • Working experience is welcome but less important than personality and qualities AquaBrowser North America offers competitive compensation, a great work environment (your own home office!), and ample opportunities for growth.
