Job Description/Duties: Working with the library director and staff, the assistant director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the library, including collection management, technology upgrades, management of the automated circulation system, scheduling, information services, and other administrative duties. Candidates should be knowledgeable in contemporary library technology and possess management, communication, organizational, decision-making and public relations skills.The Community
The Lavenia McCoy Public Library serves the Pine River Public Library District (population 7,500) in beautiful and historic southwest Colorado. The library is located in the town of Bayfield, just 20 miles east of Durango, a popular ski town and tourist destination.
