Job Description
Hiring, supervising and evaluating staff Exceptional interpersonal communication both verbal and written Ability to work collaboratively with staff and city government Organizing and instructing various library programs and all aspects of collection management Managing and overseeing all library operations (including facility maintenance) Preparation and administration of annual budget Strong technology experience (Microsoft operating systems and applications) Program planning and coordination and public relations including community outreach and involvement A strong commitment to public service Ability to work with all ages Strong background in teaching and extensive research Highly self motivatedAdditional Info & Requirements
The Eaton Public Library is a Member of the High Plains Library District. The Eaton Library is in a beautiful, historic building serving a supportive community of 5,000 using the latest technologies and customer-centered service philosophy and doing it all with a group of fun-loving staff totally devoted to the library and its community.
