Job Description
Under limited supervision, performs technical and administrative work in support of the Information Technology department of the Jefferson County Public Library. Work involves designing, implementing and maintaining the Library systems WAN and LAN consisting of Windows Operating Systems and server systems, Cisco, UNIX and other network operating systems. Employee is responsible for installing, monitoring, and maintaining network equipment and applications, participating in planning and equipment purchase recommendations; and assisting Jefferson County Public Library computer users. Also responsible for all voice systems and circuits. Provides and maintains security for both VoIP communications and data at all locations.Additional Info & Requirements
Must be able to evaluate and troubleshoot issues 24x7, evaluate the criticality of issues and determine an appropriate course of action, realizing that in some instances evening, weekend, or holiday work may be required to resolve the issue.HR Info
