Job Description

The Douglas County Libraries has several Substitute Librarian positions available. The position will provide general reference service assistance to patrons of all ages.

Top candidates will be able to work a mix of mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends at a variety of our branch locations. Subs are required to work at least 4 hrs. every 2 months at any of our library branches. Youth Librarian experience, including storytime experience, is a major plus. A strong customer service ethic is a must. The position requires knowledge of the latest library and technology trends. Public library reference desk experience is required. Must be able to maintain positive, team-player staff relations.
