Job Description
The Douglas County Libraries has three part-time (15 hrs/wk) Materials Handler Technician positions available at our Parker Library (2 positions) and our Highlands Ranch Library (1 position). This is a great entry-level but very important position for our district. The position involves accurately shelving books and library materials, working with our sorter systems, and maintaining shelf order and appearance.Additional Info & Requirements
Applicants must have excellent customer service skills. Position requires ability to stand for several hours per shift, to bend to floor level and to reach a height over 70 inches. Must be able to push movable carts loaded to a maximum of 250 pounds, carry 10 pounds and lift up to 35 pounds. Must have ability to learn library procedures, and must be able to learn basic operations for our library computer and sorter systems. Applicants must be able to work a mix of days, evenings and weekends, as early at 7 am weekdays and 9 am weekends. HS students are welcome to apply.The Community
