Job Description
Provides administrative and professional assistance to the Library Director. Assumes the responsibilities of the Director in the Director's absence or unavailability. Plans, coordinates, schedules, and oversees community programming at the library including the recruitment and supervision of volunteers. Provides assistance to library patrons of all ages and abilities by performing a variety of tasks using personal, administrative and technical skills. Excellent listening and problem solving skills, credibility, integrity, a sense of humor, patience, and a willingness to learn new things. Proven background of working with a team. Current working knowledge of computer systems and word processing. Ability to plan, direct and coordinate the activities of others, works well with community and staff, and makes sound and independent decisions.Additional Info & Requirements
