Opportunity is knocking! Pueblo City-County Library District is seeking a dynamic Librarian with an Adult Literacy Emphasis. This position supports the R&RA department by providing expertise in reference and information services to customers from the service desk, including meeting customer requests, informing users of research techniques, training customers on how to use the library’s in-print, electronic, database, web and other resources; and by providing information to customers on outside resources. This position also facilitates the Library District’s Adult Literacy Program by developing, coordinating, conducting and evaluating adult literacy programs designed to meet the needs of the community.

Additional Info & Requirements

Who are we looking for? A professional librarian with a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from a college or university accredited by the American Library Association, with a minimum of three years of progressively responsible work experience in a public library. Our choice candidate will also possess knowledge of adult learning models and the ability to teach literacy skills to a diverse population.
