Job Description

Douglas County Libraries has an exciting and immediate opening for a 30 hr/wk Graphic Designer with experience in all areas of electronic layout and design. The position will support our Senior Graphic Designer with a variety of design projects from concepts design to final production design. Involves creating and designing promotional materials for youth, teens, adults, seniors, the community and our staff. Also will assist our fast-paced Community Relations department with other programs, projects and/or events as necessary.

Must have strong visual and artistic design skills. Must have knowledge of design processes, including but not limited to page layout, type specification, image manipulation, photo cropping, print production and digital pre-press requirements. Top candidates will be a flexible, versatile, detail oriented team players and self-starters who can meet all required deadlines. Strong time management skills required.
