Job Description
The Dean is responsible for leadership of Library faculty and staff, strategic planning, budget administration, the development and assessment of Library programs and services, and is the champion of library fund raising efforts. The Dean actively fosters a library‐wide collegial climate based upon respect, service, transparency, and teamwork. The Dean also manages and serves as academic leader for library faculty and staff. The Dean acts as a consistent library spokesperson who is able to reshape opportunities and understand how to develop and advocate for a budget to support this work.He/she provides campus leadership as a member of the Provost's Council and other policy setting bodies.
