Nestled in the San Juan Mountains of SW Colorado, Wilkinson Public Library serves the resort town of Telluride and surrounding communities, nurturing the creativity and curiosity of 12,000 residents and guests. Our vision requires a dynamic, passionate leader to direct our technical services operations and inspire and manage innovative technology projects that integrate a VuFind open source catalog and Millennium database with social media, QR codes, mobile apps, and third party hardware. The Systems/Technical Services librarian will manage a department of 2 FTE including an MLS Librarian and part time processing clerk. The position is integral to the management team, advising the Director, coordinating and leading projects, managing user statistics, training and inspiring staff toward innovation. Participation on consortium taskforces and involvement with regional/statewide/national professional organizations is expected. Additional Info & Requirements

This position requires an ALA accredited MLS, experience with Innovative Interfaces ILS, and cataloging experience in a library environment. Knowledge of emerging technologies and social media in relation to library services is essential. Management and training experience is preferred.
