Job Description

The Institute is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience in content management and skills in writing, editing, and cataloguing diverse detailed information for ready access. The Content Manager will report to the Director of Marketing & Communications and will be responsible for developing a voice for The Institute’s online presence. In addition to writing, editing, and proofreading site content, this person will work closely with the technical team, The Institute’s Research team and the Director of Marketing and Communications to organize and categorize complex material for online publication; will integrate information with the content management software; ensure site standards and a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties are maintained; will direct any redesign work and maintenance. The content manager will also be responsible for crafting site promotions, email newsletters, and online efforts as they relate to IAALS projects; tracking and reporting all site metrics; and assuring that web-based information is archived for future needs.
