Job description: Coordinate placement procedures for students’ admissions and enrollment processes. Research resources available on line and recommend the acquisition of language development products. Administer and process assessment data. Major Responsibilities and Duties: • Examines different commercially available English and Spanish placement tests - keeping abreast of new technologies and language developments and making recommendations. • Coordinates the implementation of testing and placement procedures for admission and enrollment processes. • Implements procedures for student referral, tracking and assessment. • Researches available resources on-line and makes appropriate recommendations. • Administers all different instruments of assessment, such as: Mid-Point and Cap-Stone Courses, Faculty End of Course Evaluations, and Student Satisfaction Questionnaires. • Collects and processes the data and reports results to the Assessment Coordinator. • Facilitates students’ access to language laboratories. • Processes and maintains language testing placement related data. • Prepares reports as requested. • Implements other assessment activities and data collection as requested. • Supports tutoring services for students in accordance with guidelines. • Collaborates and supports the campus retention plan. • Maintains and correctly manages confidential information in accordance to FERPA regulations.Additional Info & Requirements

• Masters Degree in Education, Languages or related field and (1) year of related experience. • Customer service oriented. • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills. • Detail oriented and well organized. • Basic knowledge of statistics and data collection. • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (verbal and written). • Knowledge and experience in relevant computer applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and Internet.
