The University of Northern Colorado seeks applicants for a part-time, temporary Reference Librarian. The person in this position will deliver reference assistance to UNC students, staff, faculty, and community patrons in the University Libraries’ Michener reference area and online, and assist with special projects and programs as assigned. This person must be committed to quality reference service at the college level. The position will begin on September 6 and continue through the end of fall semester, December 9 for 6 to 10 hours each week, with potential reappointment in the spring semester. Evening and weekend hours may be assigned. The position will be paid on an hourly basis. The hourly rate will be based upon experience. Required: Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited program or current enrollment in an ALA-accredited master’s program with at least 9 relevant credit hours completed at the time of appointment. Preferred: Experience delivering in-person or online reference service; experience working in a technologically advanced library.
