Job Description

The Library Shelver position is responsible for routine library work, concerning primarily the sorting and shelving of library materials, and performing other tasks to keep the collections in order. This is a part-time (15 hours/week) non-benefited position. Hours are Monday (5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.); Wednesday (4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.); Saturday (1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and Sunday (1 p.m. to 5 p.m.).

Additional Info & Requirements

Required: Must be at least sixteen years of age and have demonstrated ability to perform essential job functions. Preferred: general knowledge of arithmetic, numbers, alphabet, and standard office and clerical practices. Working knowledge of policies, procedures, terminology, and classification systems used by library.
