1 OPENINGS - LIBRARY TECHNICIAN PART TIME TEMPORARY for six months only at Longmont Public Library. This position is an temporary non- benefited position that will include working at the adult services reference desk days, some evenings and two weekends per month.Position open until filled. Hiring Range: $17.14/HR. Duties: Serves at the public reference desk in the adult services department, answer public reference queries, in person, on the phone, or by e-mail and other duties that may be assigned while working on the desk. Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of clerical and/or technical experience in a public library or related to specific assignment. Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency desirable. Knowledge of routine procedures of public libraries. Ability to provide assistance and deal courteously and tactfully with library patrons.
