An Outreach Assistant performs varied library duties and clerical work, assisting in the successful running of the Outreach Services Department. The position involves general circulation duties, reference, Readers’ Advisory, general Bookmobile maintenance checks, Bookmobile collection rotation and development, planning and facilitating story-times and various programs for Bookmobile and other Outreach programs.
