The Role: In this challenging and multi-faceted position, we are looking for an engaging outgoing person who has a genuine desire to reach out to our patrons, communities and supervising library staff.
Determine system wide services for core library function of delivering library services where people live, work and play
Provide direct customer service to patrons where they live, work or play
Recruit, train and supervise staff
Drive a large vehicle including a bookmobile
Search new library trends and services and look for exciting new ways to implement
Coordinate and participate in community outreach programs
Analyze current outreach programs: what works, what doesn’t
Analyze demographic, public, and third-party sources of data to better understand the overall community needs
Coordinate and participate with others in cross functional teams to accomplish goals and objectives
Effectively use software programs and tools
Create and maintain effective working relationships across departments
Must have the ability to drive large vehicles including bookmobiles. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; possess outstanding computer skills.
Must have a valid Colorado Driver's License and be able to work some evenings, holidays and weekends.
