Job Description

This position directs and advises print-disabled patrons in their selection of recreational and informational reading materials by answering incoming phone calls from patrons statewide and advising and disseminating general information to patrons. On-site patrons are assisted with needs for new equipment, books, library registration and general information. This position resolves problems with applications; processes transfer patrons; orders inter-library loans and any other patron issue that might arise. Letters advising clients of the status of their accounts are also generated. This position will also do authority work on series information in catalog records. This is a very busy library with numerous walk-in clientele and heavy phones.
