Job Description

Leslie J. Savage Library, Western State Colorado University, seeks a customer service-oriented individual to join our team of library staff and student employees as Interlibrary Loan/Night Manager.

Responsibilities:  Managing library operations during evening hours; managing the library’s interlibrary loan program; assisting and guiding students with their academic research; performing cataloging activities; training, supervising, and evaluating up to six student employees; transporting and re-shelving books and closing the library building.

This is a 40 hour/week, year round position. The work schedule is Sunday through Thursday nights until midnight and later during final exams

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Prior experience and aptitude for learning new computer applications. Experience using Microsoft Office applications. Experience working with a team of colleagues and with the public providing excellent customer service. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Supervisory experience, experience overseeing the work of others, or training others. Ability to perform all physical job-related essential functions.

Salary: $30,000 - $32,000 a year depending on qualifications
